RESIDENCE PERMIT

(a) Requirements for issuance of Residence Permi – New application:

(i) Applicants aged between 7 – 15 years:

1. Copy of valid passport
2. Applicant’s birth certificate
3. Copy of the permit underpinning the application
4. Adoption certificate (in case of adopted children)
5. Proof of enrolment at an educational Institution (for students)

(ii) applicants aged above 16 years:

1. Copy of valid passport
2. Copy of the permit underpinning the application
3. Copy of Aliens’ Registration Card for Zambia
4. Birth certificate Certified
5. Copy of marriage certificate, if applicant is a spouse/ of permit holder
6. Two testimonials as to the character of applicant from persons of good standing who have known applicant for a minimum period of not less than three (3) years
7. Proof of enrolment at an educational Institution (for students)

(iii) Investor’s Permit Holders:

1. Copy of valid passport
2. Copy of Investor’s Permit underpinning the application
3. Aliens Registration Card for Zambia
4. Valid ZRA Tax Clearance Certificate
5. New processed bank statement
6. Audit Report from a recognized audit surveying firm or property valuation expert
7. Title deeds as proof of ownership of land or building, or lease agreement for premises
8. Recent passport size photograph (soft copy)
9. Inspection Report

(iv) Residence Permit for Retirees:

1. Copy of valid passport
2. Proof of ability to sustain oneself (bank statement)
3. Proof of permanent pension (irrevocable annuity) or retirement account
