This Permit is issued to a Prohibited Immigrant to make his stay in Zambia lawful.
Requirements for Applying for Temporary Permit
- Certified copy of valid Passport (bio data & endorsement showing current status of applicant in Zambia
- Certified copies of the permit on which applicant might have been while in Zambia
- Cover letter to the Director General of Immigration giving reasons for this application
- Recent certified passport size photograph
- Payment of a prescribed fee as in the schedule below.
Requirements for Renewal/Extension of Temporary Permit
- Covering letter giving reasons why an extension is desired
- Copies of the pages of the original Permit – these are all pages that have been written on by the Department of Immigration
- Recent certified passport size photograph
- Certified copy of valid Passport (bio data & endorsement showing current status of applicant in Zambia
- Copies of any other important document supporting the application
- Payment of a prescribed fee as in the schedule below
